Why we built Linnx, a LinkedIn inbox manager
Almost all of my business comes through LinkedIn, which means almost all of it comes through LinkedIn messages. My inbox is extremely full.
For the last two years I have had hundreds and hundreds of messages I could not keep on top of. I lost business because of it. Not because the conversations were bad, but because I never got back to them.
That is why we built Linnx.
Linnx makes working with your LinkedIn data easy
LinkedIn is built to get people messaging you. What it does not give you is a way to handle what arrives.
There are no labels. There are no reminders to come back to a chat. Search is not great. So it becomes unmanageable quickly, and the useful messages are the ones that end up missed.
The worst version, and this is me, is opening a message, clearing the notification, and never thinking about it again.
Linnx exists to make all of that easy to manage.
What Linnx does
It brings your LinkedIn data into one place and gives you the tools to organise it.
Your inbox. Your main LinkedIn inbox, with search across everything, snooze, drafts, message templates and keyboard shortcuts.
Your people. Connection requests, connections, invitations you have sent, groups and favourites.
Your content. Your post library, post analytics, message analytics and CSV export.
Categories are one of the best parts. You create your own, in your own words, so they match the way you already work instead of a list somebody else decided on.
Who Linnx is for
Linnx is for people who have a business and use LinkedIn as part of how they earn:
- Freelancers and consultants working on their own
- Entrepreneurs building something new
- Small teams running their own sales and partnerships
- Businesses where a few people carry most of the conversations
The messages in that inbox are leads, clients, partners and suppliers. When a chat goes missing, something real goes with it.
The MCP, if you want it
Some people prefer to work in the app. Others already work in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor all day and would rather stay there.
Linnx has an MCP for that. It connects your Linnx account to the AI client you choose. It is optional, and everything in Linnx works without it.
Connected, your client can read your messages, connections, requests, posts and analytics. It can create categories and file chats, posts and requests into them. It can archive chats, write drafts for you to review, build groups and mark favourites.
Three things it cannot do:
- Send a message. You press send yourself, in Linnx.
- Accept, decline or withdraw a connection request. You do that in Linnx.
- Reach any Linnx account other than the one you connected.
The AI processing happens in the client you connect, not in Linnx. We do not score your contacts or rank your messages. You can revoke access from your client at any time.
What we left out
No auto sending. No sequences. No bot replying overnight. Other tools do that. We do not.
A LinkedIn conversation is worth having because there is a real person on the other end. Take that away and there is no inbox left worth managing.

A note on the MCP. Your LinkedIn inbox holds other people's data as well as your own, their names, their companies and their words. When you connect the MCP, that data goes into whichever AI client you point it at. We would recommend a business or enterprise AI account for this, the kind that comes with a DPA and does not use your chats for training. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice.
